Below is my list of recommended updates that bring value to your home in order of importance:

  • Get PEST, HOME and ROOF Inspections – create a to do list
  • Clean your home and carpets or replace flooring if worn
  • De-clutter– donate and recycle – get over stuff
  • Create curb appeal – update landscaping, trim trees, use drought resistant plants
  • Replace lighting fixtures where possible – fixtures should match
  • Replace or remove outdated window coverings – let light in
  • Paint interior walls, ceilings and new baseboards white, remove popcorn ceilings
  • Replace or refinish your front door and garage door, if worn – let light in
  • Paint exterior, 2 colors keep colors neutral – refinish wood trim
  • Think Green – replacement windows, energy efficient appliances, evaluate heat and air
  • Update or remodel your kitchen – neutral flooring, SS appliances, counters, & hardware
  • Update or remodel bathrooms – low flow products, replace or re-grout tile
